Home Happy Westchester grew out of my love for all things home. Growing up in a small apartment in NYC, I cherished our trips to the “country” (which is what us city kids called the ‘burbs). My favorite time to drive through these suburban neighborhoods was in the evening when the sun began to go down and the lights went on. Warm, inviting homes were suddenly illuminated. I used to dream about what went on inside these beautiful homes and envision big stone fireplaces and large open kitchens. After buying our first home, I quickly learned that these dream spaces take a lot of time, love and patience but they are attainable (even for a thin wallet). Home Happy Westchester pulls together my dream spaces, real life lessons and hopefully some tips for you too!
Following a successful career managing the Private Equity programs for a global market research firm and 14 productive years in marketing and business development, Alexis shifted her professional focus to real estate. Alexis was born and raised in Manhattan and lived in Brooklyn for 9 years prior to moving to Westchester in 2010. Although she has laid down deep roots in Westchester, she is also connected to her city upbringing which makes her perfectly poised to support clients taking the leap from urban to suburban. Alexis loves the challenge of a tough negotiation but also understands that real estate is not only a transaction, but also an extremely personal and impactful business. Her passion and dedication to her clients shines through in everything she does.
Upon moving to Westchester, Alexis immediately focused on raising her 2 children and becoming an involved member of the local community: volunteering for a national nonprofit, creating and managing a neighborhood online forum, sitting on the Board of the PTA and chairing several school events. She also manages a soccer team and is the head of the community outreach program.
Outside of the office, Alexis enjoys spending quality time with her family, cheering on her kids at their many sporting events, football Sundays, all things Peleton, entertaining friends with lots of wine and food, exploring new restaurants and living life to the very fullest!
